New City Orangetown Lodge No 854 presented Supreme Lodge Eagle Scout citations and patches to three New Eagle Scouts from Troop 185 of Monsey, New York. One of the recipients Matthew Ragusa also received a scholarship from New City Orangetown Lodge. The Eagle Court of Honor for Michael B. Conway of Troop 434 was held July 20, 2008 in Manteca, CA. His grandfather, Glendon O. Griffith, a 50 year Pythian veteran from the Grand Domain of Indiana attended and presented to Michael the Supreme Lodge, Knights of Pythias Eagle Scout Certificate of Achievement and pocket patch.

Michael's Eagle project was raising almost $2000 and organizing over 300 hours of donated labor to build a Pergola to provide shade for for the Seniors at Bethany Homes in his hometown of Ripon, CA. Michael successfully completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review on June 2nd, 2008.
