Sir Bruce H. Brown
Bruce
Brown and his wife Debby are residents of Charleston, South
Carolina. Bruce has four children and Debby has two sons. Together
they have 12 grandchildren and they enjoy spending time with the
ones that live close to them. Debby is the Grand Manger, Bruce's son
Eddie is the Grand Vice Chancellor and his daughter, Melissa, is the
Grand Junior and his son Joe, is a member of Stonewall Jasper #6.
Bruce joined the order in 1976 and became the Past Chancellor of
Stonewall Jasper #6 in 1983 and became the Past Grand Chancellor of
the Domain of South Carolina in 1990. He was the Pythian of the Year
for Stonewall Jasper Lodge #6 in 1985 and Pythian of the Year for
South Carolina in 1985. He was appointed Deputy Supreme Chancellor
from 2002 thru 2006. He was elected the Supreme Representative for
the Domain of South Carolina in 1991. He is currently Financial
Secretary for Stonewall Jasper Lodge and he has done this many
times. In 1992 Bruce became a Past Royal Vizier, Sinbad Temple #96,
D.O.K.K. He is a long time member of the Elizabeth Temple #2 and is
an associate member of the Sting Ray Chapter #25 Junior Order. He
received his Golden Spur degree in May, 2007. Bruce is a retired
Naval First Class Petty Officer having served in Vietnam and is
currently working for SCE&G as a Supervisor of Operations at the
Bushy Park LNG facility and has been with them for 36 years. Bruce
and Debby attend the First Assembly of God in Charleston, and Bruce
enjoys watching his grandson, Jamie, who is a member of the Jr.
Stingrays play hockey at our local Ice Palace.
